Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child/children at The Miami Sudbury School. Our enrollment is open throughout the year as space is available. Here are the steps for enrollment:
- Familiarize yourself with our School and The Sudbury Approach to Education. Check out a few articles, videos, and maybe a book from our Library. Review the School Handbook on our Family Page.
- Fill out our School Tour Application to schedule a private tour for your family. Our Admissions Committee schedules 20-30 minute tours typically around 9am.
- After the tour, your family may be invited to schedule an Admissions Interview and will be sent an invoice electronically to pay the $75 interview fee (per family). If we have already reached maximum enrollment, your child will be placed on our Waiting List.
- Upon acceptance, you will receive an Enrollment Checklist and Contract. Once we receive the signed contract, all the items on the checklist, and the Student Support Fee, your child’s place will be held and they become a Voting Member at The Miami Sudbury School.
Please note: The unique nature of our school relies heavily on the right mix of ages and the ability of all students to function cooperatively and productively for the sake of the community. The enrollment process is not immediate and typically takes 7-10 days to complete.
